It was probably the best day yet today!
Again we were up early for a walk. We went along the water. Even before the sun came up it was a beautiful beginning. The weather was great.
We then travelled to Ardmore. A little coastal town on the Celtic Sea. We followed St Declan's walk along the cliff. There's a few photos here.
There are other photos. Lots of them. I climbed the watch tower above. There's also a video that I'll upload when I get a chance. The peace and solitude was amazing. I was the only one around. Brilliant. Much like the Emmaus Walk we did for Staff Spirituality. It was a moment that I hoped would happen while here. Very lucky to get the opportunity to be one and alone with the pastoral lands on one side and the sea on the other. St Declan picked a good spot!
We spent a little time then in Ardmore. Notice the painted windows?
We the drove to Cobh for lunch and Mass. The Cathedral there is amazing. The photos (and again there are too many for here and now) won't do it justice. But ...
There was also a link to my old primary school. Lucky to share it with Teresita who is now the Principal there and with us on this Pilgrimage.
There is so much I want to say about today. It really was one I won't forget. In the business of life getting time to reflect alone is tough. Today I got that chance and then some. And did it on a coastal cliff and golf course like that I've never been fortunate enough to play on. Feeling truly blessed.
And struggling in my room too TBH ...

And to top it all off, a win to the Wallabies!!! Glad you are enjoying it Michael, looks like an amazing experience x
