Kilkenny - Waterford

Just a quick one. The WIFI here not the best.

We left Wicklow this morning. I made sure that I'd remember it by smashing a full Irish Breakfast. Blood pudding and all. Brilliant.

We drove through to Kilkenny and spent a little time at the Castle there. We enjoyed Mass at St Paul the Evangelist before heading through to Waterford.

We visited the Waterford Crystal Factory and saw how the handmade crystals are created. I also got closer to a replica Ashes Trophy then the Aussies last month!

After a quick pint for lunch we visited Reginald's Tower. It is still hard to fathom being in a building that is nearly five times older than any such space back home.

Then into the Hotel for dinner and a few quiet ones. Had to also take a photo of a pub nearby. Memories of home ...

With the WIFI and our first Retreat Day planned for tomorrow there may or may not be an update tomorrow.

While it's been great to catch the girls on the phone I'm really missing them. Seeing young families today brings it home.

I hope my colleagues are enjoying their break. Hopefully too my HSC students are working hard. Don't be afraid to email! And also hopefully Year 11 are enjoying a well earned rest!
